kirsten dunst's new fashion shoot for vogue italian is just stunning... her unique, quirky personality makes her one of my fav actress.. still remember saw her film, melancholia by lars von trier, a very poetic and beautiful movie that talks abt the end of the world with different angle..

i guess kirsten dunst is the perfect model for lula magazine.. not like some tacky models or actresses, i think she add some quality and uniqueness to the image, even tho my hubby doesn't have much positive feedback to her.. saying she got some problematic lifestyle.. well, who doesn't have a problematic lifestyle in hollywood..(duh~)

i just love how fashion and art combine together, and created something like this gareth pugh dress/art piece.

gareth pugh worked with show studio and hand-made this dress within 3 days.. I literally watched the live web tv from 11am to 6pm everyday for 3 days, seeing how he make the concept into reality.. i miss london so much~ very depressing weather but full of aesthetical vibrancy

this very only one piece in the world... £ 7,500 a piece, can you handle it!!

it was won for 1000euro at a bidding auction for fundraising event for wwf.

several luxury brand's creative directors involved and bring art into their own brand. what i like uncle karl's work is his photos present elegant, classic and sophisticated, and differ from over-state, edgy and extravagant piece, his work is very comfortable and simple..

i've always want to post a topic about ankle sock styling like the pix shown above..

i think it's quite challenging to style with ankle sock when you wear shorts, short skirt or dress, because... i don't know.. maybe it's my own stereotype toward oriental out-fashioned country girl.. they wear ankle socks as well (like the pic below)... so i think it is not easy to style with ankle sock.. hahaha.. perhaps, it's only my own issue.

anna wintour gave some word of wisdom regarding working in fashion industry, which i saw at fashionologie.com today. basically she is commenting on the difference in reality tv show and the actual reality, in terms of working in fashion industry.

"don't go too fast, because of reality television, everyone imagines they can just be a fashion designer, photographer, or model. that's not the way things go. learn your craft."

"do your homework, go online, visit every museum, and intern. you just need to have a love for what you're doing. it's not about thinking that it's the cool thing; it's about really believing in it."

是不是想到他很有個性又中性的設計，並不是主打浪漫又凸顯女性特徵的風格
